Introduction to International Student Events

Annual programs and events for international students

  • New Student Welcome Party
    This event provides the new international students who enter the School in April to be familiar with the senior grade students. The cakes made by the students in the 2-year Pastry Course are offered at the welcome party to help the participants to get to know one another.
  • Sake Brewery Visit Tour
    Japanese sake is quite popular and highly evaluated overseas, too. Group tours are organized for participants who wish to visit some of the many sake breweries in Fukuoka.
  • Yamakasa Festival Visit Tour
    A group tour to visit a local festival held in July every year in Fukuoka. Many foreign tourists visit the area only for seeing theYamakasa Festival which has been held for over 700 years.
  • School Festival
    The 2-day School Festival is held annually in October and visited by more than 8,000 people.
  • Christmas Tea Party
    The tea party offers an opportunity to learn the history, culture and manners of Japanese tea ceremony where the students actually prepare tea.

International Student Support System

The School assigns some faculty members to provide support to the international students in the renewal procedure for their student visa, introduction of part-time jobs, consultation for everyday life matters, etc. so that the students can lead a trouble-free life in Japan.
